11/13/2023 0 Comments Royal court dlc ck3I hope their next expansion focuses more on mechanics, adding/tuning historic events, and regional flavour. I mean I think the throne room looks neat, but it's far from a priority and not something that I can honestly say that I'm thrilled Paradox spent 18 months working on. What also concerns me is that rather than getting to a lot of these issues, Paradox might now be stuck looking after this 3D representation of a throne room and that there might be an expectation for further 3D features in DLCs that also take immense amounts of time and resources. Posted: 9:00 am Crusader Kings 3's critically acclaimed Royal Court DLC is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S on May 17. Diseases are pathetic and the black death is an absolute non-eventĮven the Royal Court DLC feels curiously incomplete without throne rooms for Dukes/Counts and tribal rulers. The Mongols have never made it beyond the steppes in a single one of my games The Byzantine Empire is still infuriatingly unhistorical, with feudal lords and no actual flavour (personally, this is where I was hoping that effort for the first DLC would go). CK3 - Loading picture with women and chess - literaly unplayable. Like the title says im doing an 1088 reformed Khazaria start and want to do an Khazar/Cuman Hybrid cultur but i cant find the button is that because im just broke and didnt got the new dlc yet or am i just stupid. Accomplishing anything you want within a single lifetime is almost always not just possible but quite easy, compared with CK2 where it was more of a multi-generational struggle. Do you need the Royal court dlc to create hybrid cultures. Royal Court and artifacts have made this worse, not better. Balance is still wacked, with the modifiers each character gets making it very difficult to get a character who's actually bad at being a ruler. Every country feels the same, the Vikings are basically the only culture in the world with any actual regional flavour. There's a real lack of depth or anything to actually do once you've established your kingdom. The culture changes were a great move in the right direction, but to be completely frank when I bought the Royal Edition in late 2020 I wasn't really expecting the first DLC to be a 3D representation of a throne room and some modifiers. As mentioned in the title, I don't think the Royal Court DLC was a bad idea, but it feels like something that should be done long after the basics have been nailed.
